Service Description

PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Five dives. One certification. A whole new way of diving. The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course is the natural next step after Open Water — and you don't need months of experience to take it. Most divers sign up right after earning their first certification, while the excitement (and the muscle memory) is still fresh. Over five dives in Sharm El Sheikh's Red Sea, you'll build the skills, confidence, and comfort to dive deeper, navigate more precisely, and explore sites that simply aren't accessible to Open Water divers alone. Who Is This Course For? Any certified PADI (Junior) Open Water Diver aged 12 or older can enroll. You don't need advanced fitness or years of logged dives — just curiosity and a willingness to try something new underwater. If you've already completed an Adventure Diver certification, you only need two more Adventure Dives to upgrade to Advanced Open Water. Junior divers should check with our team in advance, as some Adventure Dives have age-related restrictions. What You'll Do You'll complete five Adventure Dives in total. Two are required: Deep Adventure Dive — Descend to depths beyond your Open Water limit and learn how to plan dives around the physiological effects of deeper diving. Underwater Navigation Adventure Dive — Sharpen your compass skills and learn to navigate using kick-cycles, natural landmarks, and timing. For the remaining three dives, you choose your own adventure based on what excites you most — buoyancy control, wreck exploration, fish identification, underwater photography, night diving, and more. Each Adventure Dive can also count toward the first dive of the matching PADI Specialty Diver course, so the skills you build here carry forward. Getting Started Before You Arrive If you'd rather not spend your first day in Sharm El Sheikh in a classroom, PADI's eLearning option lets you complete the theory online at your own pace, ahead of your trip. It covers seven of the most popular Adventure Dives, including both required dives, so you can spend more of your time in Egypt actually diving. Why Dive Advanced Open Water With Red Sea Marine Our instructors know the Sharm El Sheikh dive sites inside out, from the walls and reefs of Ras Mohammed to wrecks just offshore — which means your Adventure Dives aren't generic checkbox exercises; they're genuinely some of the best dives in the region. Small groups, PADI-certified instruction, and full equipment
