Service Description

Give your child something they'll talk about for years. The PADI Bubblemaker program lets children aged 8 and over breathe underwater for the first time — in shallow, calm water, under the direct one-on-one supervision of a PADI professional. No experience needed. No deep water. Just the pure excitement of breathing underwater and seeing the underwater world up close. It's one of the most popular family activities in Sharm El Sheikh, and it's over in about an hour — perfect for families on holiday who want to give their kids something genuinely memorable. What Happens in a Bubblemaker Session The session takes place in water no deeper than 2 metres, so your child is always within arm's reach of the instructor and can stand up at any point. Before entering the water, your child will get a short, fun introduction to the equipment — how to breathe through a regulator, how to clear a mask, and what to do if they want to stop. Everything is explained in simple terms, at their level. Then they get in, take their first breath underwater, and the magic starts. The whole experience runs around 60–90 minutes from start to finish, including the briefing and getting into gear. Your child won't be a certified diver afterwards, but they will have a PADI certificate of participation and an experience that often leads to them asking to do the Open Water course as soon as they're old enough. Is It Safe? Yes. The Bubblemaker program is specifically designed for children, with equipment sized for kids and depth limited to 2 metres throughout. Your child is never left unattended — a PADI instructor is with them in the water for the entire session. Parents are welcome to watch from the poolside or shallow water area. Bubblemaker Birthday Parties The Bubblemaker is also available as a group event — a popular choice for children's birthday parties in Sharm El Sheikh.
