Service Description

When the sun goes down, the underwater world changes completely. The SSI Night Diving & Limited Visibility specialty gives certified divers the skills and confidence to experience the Red Sea after dark and learn how to dive comfortably when visibility is reduced. At Red Sea Marine Diving Center in Sharm El Sheikh, you'll learn with an experienced SSI instructor who will introduce you to the techniques and considerations that make night and limited-visibility diving enjoyable, controlled, and safe. Before entering the water, you'll learn how to prepare for a night dive, use your dive light effectively, communicate with your buddy in darkness, and plan your dive around the conditions. You'll also develop techniques for maintaining orientation, awareness, and good buoyancy when you can't rely on the same visual references you have during a daytime dive. Once underwater, you'll discover a completely different side of the Red Sea. Some marine life becomes more active after dark, while other creatures that are rarely seen during the day begin to appear. Coral reefs that look familiar in daylight can feel completely different when illuminated only by your dive light. The limited-visibility training also helps you become a more adaptable diver. You'll learn how to remain calm and maintain awareness when visibility is reduced, while continuing to communicate effectively and manage your dive with your buddy. At Red Sea Marine, we keep our specialty training personal and relaxed, with experienced SSI instructors who take the time to make sure you are comfortable with each skill. We focus on developing good habits and practical diving skills rather than simply completing a checklist. Whether you're fascinated by the idea of seeing the Red Sea at night or want to become a more versatile diver in different underwater conditions, this specialty offers a memorable way to expand your diving experience. As the reef goes dark, a different world comes to life. Grab your light and discover it for yourself.
