Visit Tiran Island, Or the Ras Mohammed National Park near the tip of the Sinai Peninsula, if you venture outside of Sharm el Sheik. You may devote more of your attention to enjoying the tide-exposed island's underwater attractions once your logistics are taken care of. A boat excursion with snorkeling breaks, however, snorkeling equipment and park admission are not. A few miles off Sharm el Sheikh, Tiran Island offers colorful coral reefs and brilliant tropical fish, all in the crystal-clear visibility that makes the Red Sea famous, but the only way to get there is by private boat.
